Models
The model is what writes your frame. Change it whenever the results aren't right.
Conjure doesn't write frames itself. It hands your wish to an AI model from a company you choose, and that model writes the code. Models differ a lot, and the one you picked first is rarely the one you have to keep.
Why it matters
- When something goes wrong, it is usually the model that missed. Trying again, or trying another model, is the fix more often than rewording your wish.
- Picking a model once and never changing it is the most common way to get stuck.
How it works
- The model's name sits beside your wish and beside the box where you ask for changes. Click it to see every model your keys can use, and choose another.
- A bigger, newer model writes better frames and follows longer requests, but it is slower and may cost more. A smaller one is quick and cheap, and makes more mistakes.
- Models have off days. If one stops partway, is busy, or writes a frame that throws an error, Try again often works.
- If the same model misses twice, or a fix doesn't take, try a stronger one. Your frame and everything you asked for stay as they are.
- Each company lists its own models. Adding a key for a second company gives you more to choose from.
- Conjure is one way in, not the only one. An agent you already use, like Claude Code, can make and change frames through MCP, and often does better on bigger jobs.
Set it up
- Click the model's name beside your wish.
- Pick another model from the list. It is used from your next request on.
- If a request missed, choose Try again under it.
