Layouts
A layout decides how a space looks and works.
Why it matters
- The same space can be a file list, a board or a gallery, without moving anything.
- Changing a layout never touches a space's files or people.
How it works
- Every space is drawn by a layout. Seamside comes with one, and you can pick another for each space.
- Set a default layout for new spaces, and a separate one for home.
- A layout is an ordinary frame that says it draws a space, so you can install one or make your own.
- A space's name, color and picture are stored in the space, so every member sees the same thing whatever layout they use.
Set it up
- In a space, open the Seamside badge in its corner and choose Settings.
- Under Layout, choose a frame.
