You're signed in everywhere, without ever making an account.
There's no sign-up anywhere in Seamside. Your devices hold keys that prove who you are, so a frame you open in your browser already knows it's you, and a friend opening your link doesn't need anything at all.
Why it matters
- No passwords, no email address and no company holding your login.
- The people you share with don't need an account either.
How it works
- The first time you open Seamside, keys are made on your device. Those keys are who you are.
- Each computer and browser you use becomes one of your devices. You confirm a new one by matching its mark on both screens.
- A device proves who you are with a signature whenever it opens a space, so nothing ever asks you to log in.
- Other people are known by their keys too. A space's member list is people, not email addresses.
- Your keys are kept encrypted on your computer, and you can save a recovery copy.

- mark: the emoji and four letters that identify a device. Match it on both screens before you accept.
