Sharing and publishing

Members see the whole space. Everyone else sees what you publish.

The menu on a file: Members only or Published, and Copy link

You never make a separate public version of anything. One link opens the space: members see all of it, and everyone else sees only what you've published.

Why it matters

  • One link works for everyone. What it shows depends on who opens it.
  • Nothing is public until you choose to publish it.

How it works

  • Open your link and you see the whole space. A stranger opening the same link sees only the published parts. There's nothing extra to set up.
  • Publish a file, a folder or a frame from its menu, and unpublish it any time.
  • A folder with an index.html can be served as a site at its own address.
  • An invite is a single-use code for one person, at the role you pick.
  • Reset a link and the old one stops working. Members move to the new one on their own.

Set it up

  1. On the space page, open the ⋯ menu on a file, folder or frame.
  2. Choose Published.
  3. Choose Copy link and send it.
